Hiya to you very patient people that have been waiting on any updates or news. I have spoken with our team and we are dedicated to getting both models of the cover and an awning sample ready for market in the 1st half of 2024.
I have drawn a line in the preverbial sand and demanded like Gandolf "This Date Shall Not Pass!!!"
Yes I know terrible... but yes this release HAS to happen as soon as possible as been in development far too long. I know our new factory is on the ball and working away feverishly to hit this deadline.
"Build it, and they will Come".... I know I will stop now hah
The drawing below is just one I made up as a concept for the awning, it may not work in reality so see where we end up.
Both the 490 & 590 Covers are at the final stage with our new factory. They are also woking on the awning as you read this!
24/07/23 - We have the New Improved COVER to CAMPER Trailer Cover Sample.
Hiya again to evey one of you very patient people that have been waiting on any updates or news. I am about to test the NEW IMPROVED factory sample. We will be testing the cover for suitability and performance, and then I will be able to give you guys a better idea on both models release dates and pricing. I wish to thank everyone for putting up with the delays, but it will be very worth it folks!!
One of the biggest changes we have had to make is to sacrifice the 2 layer weather seal on the zips. On testing the waterproof zips where just not up to the task when it came to reliability and strength. The new much stronger zips are easily able to take the tension and repeated use. The downside is that they are not waterproof. But the Weather Guard design we have in place will keep the cover water resistant.
11/06/23 - Patience Pays Off! New Improved COVERtoCAMPER Trailer Cover Being Signed Off.

I should have it in my hot little hands soon. We will be testing the cover for suitability and performance, and then I will be able to give you guys a better idea on both models release dates and pricing. 02/03/23 - New & Improved Factory Sample Nearly Completed!
Heya People, yes after many delays and setbacks, our direct interactions with our awesome factory has sped up the final few modifications we needed to make.
Everything we have been doing in the last 6 months has been to perfect, strengthen and greatly improve the final design. We are only a few weeks away from receiving our factory sample, which we will test before the release of our COVER To CAMPER!!!
I thank everyone for their patience and understanding in this long final development and testing phase.
I am 100% confident this final sample will be our release version, and be the best cover for our future customers! I will keep everyone updated!
20/12/22 - Going Where We Have Never Gone Before!
Hiya everyone, yes we are still here, we are still at it, getting our cover back into development. But the big news is that CoverMyAss Trailer Covers is going the rest of the journey on our own. Yes we are currently in daily contact with our factory, whom have been amazingly patient with us, and are 100% behind us getting the Cover To Camper back into development and finished to a high standard. We are very lucky to have their support moving forward.
I know, I know, you guys have been so patient with us too, and we are taking calls from people wanting to get their hands on the cover NOW!!!
Well, as I tell those people, my motto has been old fashined service, and a quality product, so we are putting this thinking into action. I will not rush the cover onto market just to make money and simply deal with the issues as they arise. So just a bit longer people, it will be worth the wait.
12/06/22 - Final Factory Sample Update.
Ok so I wish to apologise to the many people that have called or emailed, and waiting with money in hand for our COVER to CAMPER to be released. Only to get this boof head once again informing our would be customers that we still do not have stock on hand.
We just have these final adjustments to perfect the cover for all you fine folk, and it should have been a short and simple process.
Unfortunately having the factory drawings adjusted has been stopped in it's tracks. The majority of our development team have been paid a visit by
"Old Mate Covid", pushing the final stage of the project further into 2022.
All us here at CoverMyAss Trailer Covers are doing our best to remain positive, but to be honest, keeping the frustration of these delays at bay is becoming difficult. But lets dig deep, take a big swig of that Aussie optimism, and push forward as soon as we can. Stay safe people!!
10/03/22 - Factory Sample Update.
We have been feverishly working away behind the scenes to make the required changes and improvements to our T3 Factory Sample. After preliminary testing we needed to make a few changes. We are determined to only release a quality product that we ourselves would expect. It takes time & a heap of patience to get the samples up to spec before we can sign off on the final product.
At this stage with all the delays due to Covid 19 and having parts of the cover outsourced by our factory late in development, we are pushing very hard for a mid to late 2022 release date. Hang in there folks, we are almost there!
26/03/22 @ 8:30pm - CoverMyAss Trailer Covers gets behind an awesome W.A event which has gone Global.
My family and I have made it an annual event, and enjoy the chance to switch off for an hour and spread the word about taking environmental responsibility.
On the company side of this, I am looking into ways we can operate cleaner, as well as offset as much as a small start-up can.

16/02/21 - Owner's Handbook Completed.
I have completed the final draft version of the Owner's Handbook, and I gotta tell you that was a mission in itself. I wanted it to be more than a throw away user guide, so I have compiled what I hope new COVER to CAMPER owners will find interesting. From Basic Dos and Don't's to Campsite Safety, Cover Care, Towing Tips and Laws, Wiring Guides, Useful Websites and Emergency Contacts plus more, phew that is a fair bit to cover, no wonder my little brain is in meltdown!
15/02/21 - Mock-up Design for Retail Bag.
As you are all probably well aware by now from the amateur hour graphic design attempts, that I am the self appointed graphic artist creating all the imagery, photography and content. So today I was asked as to how I wanted the Retail Carry Bag to look including the colour and dimensions. Thought I would share my Conceptual Image with you fine folk.
14/02/21 - Production Model Testing.
We have taken delivery of our Production Sample or T2 Sample, and have had the oportunity to do a few 100km/h tests and low speed runs. The results are mainly positive, but we hit a few snags, not literally....
We have had to schedule another meeting where we will compile our reports to send to the Factory for adjustments.
It is a rollercoaster ride when creating a new product that's for sure!
08/02/21 - Production Model Meeting Today!!!
BIG DAY EVERYONE.... we get to inspect and test the Production Prototype of the COVERtoCAMPER Model 490 Trailer Cover, fingers crossed everything has been correctly manufactured. Not long now hopefully till we are out an about demonstrating this game changing trailer cover.
Excitement is building!!!
